Hello and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Sophie Nussle and I’m a writer. I like and read all sorts of writing – from fiction to non-fiction to poetry – but I have a sneaking preference for fantasy and magic realism, real stories of people I have encountered and adventure tales, as well as contemplative and exploratory pieces. Having worked in the past as a humanitarian in war zones, I also like stories set in times of crisis, matching the human spirit against what can challenge it most. I currently work in global health communications, which allows me to write many stories.

Hi Sophie, I was introduced to your blog by CC Cairns. I also have humanitarian interests that I express at gottafindahome.wordpress.com. I chronicle daily conversations with the homeless. Thank you so much Miss Nussle when you left I had Mrs Burfitt i still have her for another year, Sophie has a supply teacher but I got a grade 7 I was the second highest in my class!! 😆 I miss you and I hope you are having a nice time!

I am indeed having a nice time, as I am in the beautiful French Alps doing things I enjoy, such as writing, outdoor sports and helping English people who live here to learn French.
